1. Overview Welletvy ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our application handles your data. Welletvy is built with a local-first architecture. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal or financial information on any external servers. We only collect anonymous diagnostic and usage data to improve app stability.

2. Data Storage and Collection

• Local Storage Only: All financial data entered into Welletvy, including transactions, notes, categories, and parsed notifications, is stored exclusively on your device's local database.
• No Server Transmission for Financial Data: We do not operate a backend server for user data. Your financial information never leaves your device and we do not have access to it.
• Data Loss: Since your personal data is not synced to a cloud server, if you uninstall the application or clear the app data, your information will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered by us.

3. Image and Camera Usage (OCR)

• Camera Permission: Welletvy requests camera permission solely for the purpose of scanning receipts using on-device AI (OCR) technology.
• No Image Storage: Captured images are processed instantly in the device's volatile memory to extract text. We do not save, store, or transmit the image files to any gallery or external server. Once the text is extracted and saved to your local database, the image data is discarded.

4. Permissions To function correctly, the app may request the following permissions:

• Camera: Required for OCR receipt scanning.
• Storage (Read/Write): Required only if you choose to export your local data to a backup file on your device.
• Notification Access (BIND_NOTIFICATION_LISTENER_SERVICE): Required to read incoming payment and banking notifications to automatically log your transactions.

5. Notification Access and Processing (Automated Expense Tracking)

• Purpose: Welletvy requires Notification Access to provide automated expense logging. We exclusively process notifications from recognized banking, credit card, and payment applications to extract transaction details (such as amount, date, and merchant).
• Local Processing Only: All notification data is parsed strictly locally on your device. We do not transmit, upload, share, or store your notifications on any external servers.
• Data Minimization: Notifications from non-financial applications (such as personal messages, emails, or social media) are strictly ignored and immediately discarded in volatile memory.

6. Analytics and Crash Reporting To improve the performance and stability of Welletvy, we use Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics as our service providers. These tools collect limited, anonymous data that cannot be used to personally identify you.

• Data Collected: We collect app interaction data (e.g., which features are used), device and installation IDs, and diagnostic data (e.g., crash logs and performance metrics).
• No Location or Personal Data: We have explicitly disabled the collection of granular location and device data. We do not collect your IP-based location, name, email, or any financial records through these services.
